I recently ordered roast duck from Shanghai You Garden, expecting the fresh, high-quality Peking-style duck they’re known for. Unfortunately, what I received was far from fresh or fair. The duck itself was a mix of old and fresh pieces. Some slices tasted dry, reheated, and clearly from birds prepared much earlier in the day (or possibly previous days), while a few pieces seemed fresher. It was obvious they were combining leftovers with newer batches to stretch supplies. Even worse, as a takeaway order, the portions were heavily skewed toward low-quality cuts. They removed the bulk of the prized breast meat (the most tender and valuable part) and served mostly bones, back meat, scraps, and skin. This feels like a deliberate practice: customers dining in can see the carving and get better pieces, but takeaway orders get the inferior remnants because staff aren’t being watched by the customer. This kind of dishonest food handling—mixing old stock and short-changing takeaway customers on quality meat—is unacceptable, especially at restaurant prices. It shows a clear double standard between dine-in and takeaway service. I won’t be returning and would caution others, particularly those

Thanks to the lady waiting for me finding the change and also a guy who offered me a dollar. The xiaolongbao is good. I bought some dessert and the cold fish dish.

Great spot to grab some of my favorite Chinese food: crispy (not soggy/gluey) fried pork dumplings, pork soup dumplings that stay soft and pork with rice cake. Everything was made to order with minimal wait, the staff were quick to answer questions, take orders and make sure customers got their food quickly. They had a promotion if you spend $20 or more, you csn choose between Peking duck bun or pork soup dumplings as well. Lots of great dishes to choose from, definitely will be back to try more dishes like the Peking duck.

Hot and juicy yummy crab soup dumplings in Nassau? I got nothing to complain and I am really happy. Same taste as the one in Flushing. All the dishes are delicious. My mom is super about their sweet tofu pudding . Very smooth and tasty.

I have been excitedly waiting for this location to open. It was well worth the wait. The soup dumplings are so soupy and good. The noodles were perfect. The free peking duck bun was delicious. I love that they are in the 99 Ranch Market food court, so there's tons of parking, and places to sit and eat. They only do take out, so don't expect table service. There is a small surcharge for using a credit card, but they take venmo and zelle.
